From this information you can pick up an amazing bargain, taking advantage of the difference in the prices of the handy little gadgets.

The iPad was released in 2010 and we all sat up and took notice. No other company can create the amount of publicity that Apple can. Steve Jobs stands on a podium and that’s it, the media turn into technology crazed animals, leaving the rest of us to salivate over the company’s juicy offerings.

The iPad had the world in its hands, everyone wanted to use and own the new gadget. People queued for hours to purchase their own piece of Apple’s new technology. Then a year later the technology giant launched the second iPad.

According to the figures released by Gumtree, as soon as the second generation device was announced people started to list the first generation iPads on their site.

Gumtree has compiled the figures from its site and has given fans of the ingenious device a chance; a chance to pick up a bargain.

The data reveals that the best place to pick up the tablet is in the north of the United Kingdom. But there are more iPads for sale in London than any of the other cities in the country, with over 40 per cent of the total devices being listed here.
